Install yank manually

If the Chrome Web Store is unreachable, download the official package and load it in developer mode — same build as the store listing.

Download yank v1.2.12

Chrome / Edge / Brave / Opera (Chromium)

  1. Download & unzip

    Click the button above, unzip to a permanent folder (e.g. ~/yank). Keep it — updates reload from the same path.

  2. Open extensions

    Go to chrome://extensions in the address bar.

  3. Enable Developer mode

    Toggle Developer mode on (top-right).

  4. Load unpacked

    Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder (the one containing manifest.json).

  5. Done

    Configure your API key and start automating. To update: download the new zip, replace the folder contents, hit Reload on the extension card.

Security: download only from yank.xassistant.cc. This is the same build uploaded to the Chrome Web Store; it does not contain your API keys (those stay local). A repackaged copy from an unofficial mirror could be tampered with.
